I obtained my BSC Degree from the American University of Beirut (AUB), where I graduated with distinction. I followed up that degree with a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology which I obtained from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
At that point in my career, I was working on the innate immune system (Host-Pathogen Interactions). After that, I worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Oxford UK, specializing in the field of Tumor Immunology and personalized cancer therapy.
Today, I am the Director of Biolab 1st Branch, and I am also leading the Flow Cytometry Unit in our Immunology Department at the Biolab Center in Abdoun, which is an endeavor I find real value in. It is always rewarding to contribute to the advancement of medicine and more specifically cancer research and this is something I am able to do in Biolab.c
