 Linking Patient’s Records Across the Biolab Network Biolab Launches New Loyalty Card Program  (Amman, Jordan 17 June 2013)- Biolab - the exclusive Biomnis dealer in the Kingdom – recently launched a loyalty program, enabling its loyalty card holders to access their medical records via a unified medical file, made available across all of Biolab’s 6 branches in Amman.

Commenting on this development, Dr. Amid Abdelnour, CEO of Biolab explained that this service specifically enables Biolab’s loyal patients to apply for a Loyalty Card, which they will receive once submitting their personal data. The card will allow them to access their electronic file at any of Biolab’s branches.

This will save the patient waiting time, or the time usually spent by staff members on the collection of medical history.  Dr. Amid Abdelnour further added that this new development serves to elevate operational standards, productivity, and speed of service. Furthermore, it will serve to enhance levels patient care and patient comfort when visiting Biolab’s clinics.

He further affirmed the entity’s is committed to continue to develop its services offering , so that they always fall in line with international trends and patient demands and consequently they help to elevate the level of healthcare standards patients come to expect in Jordan. Biolab is now also adopting a medical e-file system developed by VTEL Jordan, a subsidiary of VTEL Ltd.

The system aims to link medical records pertaining to all Biolab branches within one unified virtual fiber optic network. The new electronic network enables patients to access their files either via Biolab’s website or mobile.

It is worth noting that through its extensive network of six branches, a main branch, and other specialized laboratories, Biolab offers patients, physicians, and hospitals cutting-edge medical services and over 700 different medical tests.

It is the sole laboratory in the Kingdom that has received the American Joint Commission International “JCI” accreditation as an independent laboratory, along with the European ISO 15189 certificate. It is also certified by Jordan’s Ministry of Health and adopted by the entirety of local banks and insurance companies.
