1 Day(s)

Reference Range

• This test cannot be used to diagnose an active infection. Negative Results: • A negative result does not exclude the possibility of a SARS CoV 2 infection or the development of COVID 19. • Samples from the very early phases can yield negative findings. Positive results: • Positive results identify individuals exposed to SARS CoV 2 and the presence of anti SARS CoV 2 antibodies in their serum. • A positive result reflects the development of antibodies to SARS CoV 2 but does not exclude the presence or absence of an active infection. • In such positive cases it is recommended to test for SARS CoV 2 by PCR to detect the presence or absence of an active infection.
