Janini

Janini is a non-invasive prenatal test that screens for the most common fetal “trisomy” conditions; Down Syndrome (chr.21), Edwards Syndrome (chr. 18), Patau Syndrome (chr. 13) and Gender of the fetus.

Janini test Cannot be performed for the following categories :

Women who are less than 10 weeks pregnant.
Women with Chromosomal abnormalities
Women who have undergone one of the following treatments in the last 4 months : Blood Transfusion, Immunotherapy, Stem Cell Therapy, Transplantation and Radiation Therapy.
