Biolab medical laboratory recently updated the services it offers within the laboratory application, under the title "A new lab experience", which provides patients with a variety of convenient e-services.

Biolab’s application is considered the first of its kind across the kingdom due to its innovative approach and user-friendly interface that caters to the needs of patients. It is designed to give all patients easy access to their tests and results, book home visits, and browse lab services, in addition to enabling them to secure prior insurance approvals before visiting the laboratory.

The new App enables patients to view their results through graphical representations for historical and current laboratory results, which allows patients to monitor and track their health progress; it also allows patients to add laboratory records for family members, which is an exclusive feature for Biolab's patients. Furthermore, the App enables patients to request a free house call service. The array of features in this app makes it a convenient channel linking patients to Biolab and keeping them informed at all times.

The CEO and founder of Biolab, Dr. Amid Abdelnour, explained that “the laboratory has been striving since its establishment to integrate technology with laboratory & diagnostic services to ensure the constant development and enhancement of Biolab's services to its patients.

Dr. Abdelnour also emphasized that “the Biolab app contributes to archiving results and making it easy to access them in the future, as well as sharing medical information through the application quickly and securely.”

The Biolab application is available to download for different phone operating systems through Apple Store, Google Play Store, and Huawei AppGallery.

Biolab is considered one of the pioneers in the field of medical diagnoses and laboratory tests, as it provides more than 700 types of tests, whether for individuals, doctors, hospitals, or other laboratories throughout the Middle East and Jordan. Biolab’s 22 branches are distributed in key regions across the Kingdom.

The laboratory is accredited by five international quality accreditation bodies, which are the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the Joint Commission International (JCI), the Jordanian Accreditation System (JAS) – which awarded Biolab with the ISO15189 certificate for distinguished health services, the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC), and the ISO 27001 certification for International Standard for Information Security.
