Biolab, the leading accredited diagnostic laboratories in the Kingdom, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Lothan Youth Achievement Center (LOYAC), extending their partnership for the fifth year in a row as part of the “Darb” Training Program.
According to the MOU, six fresh graduates will be receiving paid trainings in Biolab’s branches this year, where the distinctive participants will be hired after the training.
The aim of this training was to increase the students' marketability within a job market characterized by competitiveness and change, and to empower them stand out within the laboratory science field.
On this occasion, Dr. Amid Abdelnour, CEO and Founder of Biolab, affirmed that the entity's contribution to this program is one that stems from its ongoing aims to be part of efforts that serve the advancement of the community.
By training students, Biolab is doing its part to reduce the gap between skilled youth and available jobs on the market, a goal it achieves by graduating from its internship program highly marketable and employable cadres.
The Darb Program aims to develop the professional skills of youth and their social skills to increase their chances to get their desired job. This is done by training and equipping youth with the practical experience in the labor market.
It is worth noting that Darb Program is implemented in partnership with King Abdullah II Fund for Human Development. It is worth mentioning that Biolabs has an unprecedented achievement at the national level by obtaining a certificate of quality health services granted by the International Joint Commission.
Biolab offers more than 700 medical diagnostic services along with a wide array of medical, scientific and consulting services in the field of health and diagnostics, which is supported by the Ministry of Health and an extensive insurance and bank affiliate network.
