Biolab Sponsors 3rd Jordan Society for Medical Laboratory Science’s Conference    (Amman, 27 March, 2013)- Biolab – the exclusive Biomnis dealer in the Kingdom – recently sponsored the 3rd Jordan  Society for Medical Laboratory Science’s Conference which was held under the patronage of HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal.

Hosted at the Landmark Hotel between March 23rd and 25th 2013, the event featured the attendance of Dr. Basem Al kiswani, who was present on behalf of Jordan’s Minister of Health. Also in attendance, were specialists from different countries including; Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Algeria, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, USA, and Jordan.

Biolab’s participation in the event stemmed directly from its aims to contribute positively towards improving the Kingdom’s healthcare sector, and more specifically the diagnostic and medical testing practices it adopts.

From another angle, the entity also hosted a lecture presented by Dr. Issa Abu-Dayyeh, Lab Director of Biolab’s Marj Al Hamam branch. The lecture was titled “Automatisation of Classical Cytogenetic Diagnostic Techniques: Present and Future.” Dr. Amid Abdelnour, CEO of Biolab, explained that this sponsorship echoes Biolab’s aims to raise healthcare standards in the Kingdom, while also instilling in the masses positive perceptions regarding the diagnostic field.
