Biolab Obtains ISO 15189 Certification (December 30, 1012): Biolab - the sole Biomnis dealer in the Kingdom - recently announced that it had obtained the ISO 15189 certification.

This certification was granted by the Jordanian Institution of Standards and Metrology and in accordance with standards set by the International Organization of Standardization (ISO), in collaboration with the International Electrotechnical Commission.

The ISO 15189 is a global certification that certifies competence and responsibility in medical laboratory processes, equipments and outcomes. ISO 15189 was developed by the International Standards Organizations Technical Committee and has been implemented in over 200 countries. The process involves testing of the effectiveness of laboratory equipments and the impact those particular equipment have on the processes in the labs and their outcomes.
