Biolab Introduces New Test for Diagnosing the H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu) Biolab, the exclusive Biomnis dealer in the Kingdom, recently introduced medical tests designed to diagnose the H1N1 Virus (Swine Flu). More specifically, these medical examinations test for the occurrence of the  H1N1, They have been made available to patients now to concede with the coming of the spring season, a time of year known for the frequent spread of flu viruses.

The tests determine patients’ immunity against the Swine Flu virus along with other types of influenza and viruses with the sensitivity and specificity of almost 100%. Furthermore, the results can be obtained on the same day, as the tests are conducted using Real Time PCR (RT-PCR) which is currently the first-line technique for confirming or ruling out flu infection.
